Texas Retired Americans President Banks Keeps on the Go

Texas Alliance for Retired Americans President Annie Banks has made several trips to the state capital to represent the interests of our many members. Banks testified against "Voter ID" and has gone back on behalf of pensioners.

Most recently, Annie Banks committed to go to the Texas House of Representatives Legislative Black Caucus April 27-28. Among the topics discussed will be climate change, the green economy, the rising cost of higher education, and women leadership in business.

None of the officers of the retiree organization receives a salary. Annie Banks carries out her many tasks out of pure commitment to the retiree cause!
