group's "video history" project was launched by
creating a short video of the meeting and
posting it on

An easy way to find it
and, hopefully, future videos is to put

Local 848's retirees had barbecue for their
October 8 (2nd Thursday) monthly luncheon at
2218 E Main in Grand Prairie. Chaplain
Gene Cates opened the meeting with a
prayer and the Pledge of
Allegiance.
We had our usual
rousing discussion of the many
developments affecting retirees
today.
Our November 12
luncheon will, of course, be our Thanksgiving
meal. Like nearly all United Auto Worker
Locals, we have a free luncheon every
month.
